Bridgwater and Albion return to South West One (West) action tomorrow (Saturday) with a home fixture against Newent which gets underway at 2.15pm at College Way.

The Albion boys have had two tough training sessions this week and ahead of the game head coach Simon Morrell said: “We have had a really hard week of training this week and pushed the boys really hard.

“Everybody gave it their all so we are back and ready for business after the break. We are in a good place looking towards the next few months.

“Luke Plummer will be back for us this week and on Saturday will start on the bench which is good for us. At this stage every team will have injuries so apart from being without Rob Allen for a while we haven’t been too harshly dealt with I don’t think.

“Obviously we have closed the gap that there was between us when they beat us away earlier in the season. The boys will have the right attitude tomorrow and will certainly be up for Saturday’s game.

Ahead of the Newent game there is a sponsor’s dinner so the Albion are expecting another large crowd to watch the game.

Simon added: “It’s awesome the support we get to watch our games so lets hope that the boys can put in a good performance in front of them tomorrow.”
