Another crucial, season defining match for the 1st XV tomorrow.

| 11/04/2013

The guys take on Cleve away from home in a full on relegation battle. After their fantastic win at Paignton last weekend, Bridgy sit 5 points clear of Cleve in the battle for the third and final relegation place. A bonus point win tomorrow will put Bridgy 10 points clear of Cleve with only 10 points remaining – however even if Cleve then win their last two games, and Bridgy lose their last two games then Cleve will still be lower than Bridgy as positions will be decided on the number of games won.

When the teams met last November it was a very close low scoring contest with Cleve leading 3-0 for most of the game, before Bridgwater scored a try in the last 10 minutes to claim the win 5-3. The boys will be hoping for more this time round!

The 2nd XV match due to be played at College Way tomorrow has been called off as opponents Walcot couldn’t raise a side – this give the 2nds a valuable win and 5 points.

The 3rd XV are playing at home tomorrow against Burnham 2nd’s and are also looking for valuable points to assist them in their relegation battle with local rivals, Morganians.

Bridgy Colts also have a match tomorrow at home against Nailsea. Kick off is 1pm.

All the teams need your support this weekend so pick your match and come along and support your team!

COME ON ALL THE BRIDGY BOYS!
