Joining Us

For the safety of all we do request that both youth players and their attending parent or guardian complete an online question survey before attending any session. This is a simple process that should be done the afternoon/evening before training, it is accessible via phone or computer using the links below.

NEW PLAYERS – Call Us, Visit Us, Try Us

If you are interested in joining the Bridgwater & Albion RFC Youth Section, then please contact the relevant Team Manager (listed under Our Teams) or alternatively come down to the Club on a Sunday morning between September and April to find out more.

You are encouraged to join a training session to see how you get on, and post March’21 for the remainder of the April-May 2020/21 season we offer all new players an extended try us free period to sample what we do, but please advise your manager and register with the RFU if you wish to continue enjoying rugby with us for more than four calendar weeks.

Player Joining and RFU Registration Process

All players and at least one associated adult needs to complete a RFU Registration process link is available here

Simply visit, create a parent account and then add a player for each of your youth players.

RFU help details are via this link, or see our guidance document AGE REGISTRATION v1 Oct 2020

Please also discuss any issues with your Team Manager regarding joining details and to ensure registration with the RFU and membership of our club is properly recorded.

For our 2021/22 season we anticipate a nominal £40 joining fee per player, with discounts for further siblings (to be confirmed).

Once our fees have been paid/membership recorded and RFU registration completed, you will then be able to play in matches and be covered by the RFU/Club insurance.

Match Kit Requirements

To play matches, a match shirt will be required – these are sold at the cost to us from our new supplier Kit World, this can be between £35 and £38 depending on size. We can also supply team shorts and club socks.

Note: We have had some issues regarding identified vs actual size of some kit items and extended delivery times, so it is important to review and discuss any kit requirements with your manager as early as possible and take his advice on what is required and what is readily available via the club before ordering anything yourself.

If you have any questions whatsoever, please contact the relevant Team Manager, or email .

If you joined us in 2020 and are yet to pay for your 2020/21 season please see the following flyer for details, Youth Membership Fees

The RFU now requires parents/guardians to renew youth player details annually for the start of season, Here is the link for details
