Joining Us

Our Season Has Started

We appreciate your patience as we work with the latest UK Gov and RFU guidelines to establish a safe way to return to youth rugby. Much work has been done to facilitate a safe youth rugby, this includes mandatory training for all youth officials and volunteers.

We held our registration day on Sunday 13th Sept, and over 100 youth players enjoyed year group timed sessions of training, whilst parents and guardians dealt with payments and paperwork. If you are yet to pay please read the following flyer for details, Youth Membership Fees

If you are interested in joining the Bridgwater & Albion RFC Youth Section, then please contact the relevant Team Manager (listed under Our Teams) or alternatively come down to the Club on a Sunday morning between September and April to find out more.

You are encouraged to join a training session to see how you get on, then you can join in for up to three weeks before having to commit and pay the appropriate fees.

New Player Joining Process

As quoted above, for this unique 2020/21 season it has been decided to only take £20 joining fees for the period until end of December and then the club will decide if the remaining fee of £20 is due depending on the training and playing allowable by national or local Covid-19 regulations.

Please see your Team Manager for more joining details so new players and their parent/guardians are taken through a brief joining process to register with the RFU and membership of the club.

Once the fees have been paid and the membership details submitted, you will then be able to play in matches and be covered by the club insurance.

Match Kit Requirements

To play matches, a match shirt will be required – these are sold at the cost to us from our new supplier Kit World, this can be between £35 and £38 depending on size. We can also supply team shorts and club socks.

Note: We have had some issues regarding identified vs actual size of some kit items and extended delivery times, so it is important to review and discuss any kit requirements with your manager as early as possible and take his advice on what is required and what is readily available via the club before ordering anything yourself.
