England Call Up for BARFC Prop

Bridgwater & Albion Prop, Lovejoy Chawatama has been selected to play for England Students.

He has been named in the line up for the England Students game against Portugal on 24th January 2014.

Lovejoy attends the University of West of England in Bristol and started playing for Bridgwater & Albion in the 2012/13 season.

He is delighted by the opportunity to play for England Students and says he lives by the following quote from Olympian Gail Devers “Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.”

Bridgwater & Albion Chairman, Steve Smith offered his congratulations to Lovejoy “It’s fantastic news for LJ, who has become a real favourite amongst BARFC supporters. Of course he will be missed when not available for us but we, none the less, wish him well and know he will be a real asset to the national squad”
