Match Tonight for the 2’s

| 13/03/2020

All members of Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Football Club past and present were shocked and saddened by the sudden and tragic death of stalwart David Norman on Wednesday. We are all in a state of dis-belief at the moment was we have lost a valued friend and loved one. No one has imagined our club without Dave at its core and his loss will be felt by many. Our thoughts and love go out to Karen and the rest of the family. Without doubt, we all will do whatever needs doing to help and support them at this impossibly difficult time.

We have taken some time to reflect and check with Karen’s wishes on how best to proceed with what feels like very irrelevant rugby matches. Dave never missed a game and we believe he would not want us to miss a match this week – this also reflects Karen’s wish that rugby should go ahead – it is what Dave loved. How we quite get through the coming days we are not sure, but we all send our very deepest condolences and sympathy to Karen and the rest of the family.
