Bridgwater and Albion RFC v Sherbourne RFC Friday 14th October KO7.30pm
Bridgwater and Albion will be looking to notch up their first points of the season when they host Sherborne at College Way on Friday evening where the game kicks off at 7.30pm ahead of which the bar will open at 6pm.
Currently after five matches, despite performing well for periods in each of their games the hosts are rooted to the bottom of the table without a point to their name.
Sherborne are third from the bottom with six points from their one win out of five games, which they achieved on the opening day of the season beating second from bottom Teignmouth 41-43, Since then they have not won another.
Sherborne RFC is a young club having not been established until 1980 and for many years competed in Southern Counties (South). At the end of the 2018-19 season they were promoted as champions to South West One (East) and under the reorganisation of the leagues have migrated across to Regional 2 South West.
Albion and Sherborne have played against each other on three occasions and only once in a league fixture all of which were many years ago.
The visit of Sherborne on Friday evening followed by another home game against Teignmouth on Saturday 22nd October will hopefully see Bridgwater and Albion notch up their first victories of the season.
