DIRTRACKERS FONDLY REMEMBER BATTLING CENTRE

| 31/08/2018

Players in our Dirtrackers XV from around 25/30 years ago will fondly remember Brian Chidgey who passed away on 12 August aged 56. Brian was a solid performer in our Athletic XV mainly as a centre three-quarter – his stocky build making him a dangerous opponent on attack and providing some good defence when required. He started off rugby football life with the Aller club in company with his younger brother Adrian – a prop or second row forward and played for Albion for several seasons – the last few at the Broadway Ground and following the move to College Way. A good team-mate both on and off the field – he will be sadly missed.

Bridgwater & Albion sends its sincere condolences to Brian’s family on their sad loss. A Memorial Service is being held at High Ham Parish Church on 30 August.
