For the last time in 2014……. ITS GAME DAY!!

Three Senior games for you to choose from today.

The 1st XV travel up the M5 to take on Thornbury. The Bridgy boys will be eager to start the second half of the season the way they left off the first half – with a big W. It won’t be easy, whilst the Bridgy boys are 3rd in the league and have won the last 6 league games in a row, Thornbury will trying very hard to stop the first double of the season for Bridgwater. Kick off is early at 2.15 so make sure you leave enough time to travel up the motorway past Cribbs Causeway!!!!

The 2nd XV are flying high at the moment and are also in 3rd in the league, but just 6 points off 1st placed Hornets 2nds. The stay at home today and entertain Chew Valley 2nds who are between Bridgy and Hornets in the league. It should be a thrilling game today and a win will see the boys go ahead of Chew for 2nd in the league going into the Christmas break. This will also be a 2.15 kick off so don’t be late to College Way.

The 3rd XV are also entertaining at home today, this time they are hosting Wellington 3rds. After a strong start to the season the Bridgy 3rds have tailed off a little but will certainly be wanting to get back to winning ways before Christmas. After a shaky start against league leaders Wyvern last week, they came back strongly in the second half and hopefully can take those thoughts and form into today’s game. Four or Five league points today would be a great result!
