Simon expecting tough game with Drybrook

| 03/12/2016

The Bridgwater and Albion boys have put their defeat at the hands of Clevedon last week behind them and tomorrow will be going all out to get a win against Drybrook who they entertain at College Way where the kick off is at 2.15pm.

Currently the Bridgy Boys find themselves in eighth place in the table with 25 points from their 11 matches while the visitors are sixth with 30 from the same number of fixtures, so it is going to be a tough old match.

Looking ahead head coach Simon Morrell said: “The boys are obviously disappointed from last week but the mood moving forward is that we are desperate for a win on our own ground in front of what we hope will be another good crowd.”

The Bridgy side will be missing some of the familiar faces as Simon explained: “We will be missing four main players- Rob Allen, Luke Plummer, Brad Field and Sam Britton, this week so we will have to adapt the way we play so its backs to the wall for the boys tomorrow.

“However that can often get a really positive response so we are expecting a big performance from the boys.

“We have had to rearrange things for tomorrow and picked back rows in the centre which might seem a bit odd but that can often create a pretty fierce defensive wall in the contact areas.”

Simon added: “We will be very unorthodox the way we play tomorrow. However it could well play into out hands so its a case of putting last week behind us, get our heads down and go for the win this afternoon against Drybrook.”
