Wellington Colts 67, BARFC Colts 5 (10/01/15)

This result is the heaviest defeat for Bridgy’s colts for some. The main factors being some very poor tackling from Bridgwater in defence and (credit to Wellington) the sheer mobility and physical fitness of all their players, of which they appear to have almost two full squads again!

In truth, going forward, Bridgwater exercise good support and control at the breakdown, and their set piece and have repeatedly shown their ability to compete in these areas of the game, even though in this match they played without a regular hooker! It is their collective defence that is letting them down.

Next Saturday (17th Jan) Bridgy play at home to Weston and it is to be hoped that the defensive training to be done during the week will at least go some way to improving this area. KO is 2.15 pm
