BARFC v KEYNSHAM 31-14 Match Report

Bridgwater and Albion 31- Keynsham -14.

In front of their biggest home crowd of the season,boosted by 230 who attended a Friends of Bridgwater and Albion RFC Lunch, the home team produced an impressive performance to get back to winning ways with a five try victory over visitors Keynsham.

The home side opened the scoring on 24 minutes when Arron Kelly went over for a tray that skipper Stuart Heal converted.

Bridgwater kept up the pressure and five minutes later extended their lead when winger Will Monro broke through side stepped a couple of tackles before going over for an unconverted try.

The home team went further ahead on 38 minutes when centre Ryan Barnett scored a try that was converted by Heal to make it 19-0.

During the additional time that was played in the first half Keynsham opened their account when Bradley Newton scored a try that Stevenson converted to make it 19-7 at the interval.

The hosts started the second half strongly and following a slick move involving the three quarters Kyan Devitt scored a try converted by Heal.

Keynsham responded five minutes later with a try from George that Stevenson added the extras too.

Into the last five minutes of the match Luke Plummer ran through to score under the posts to make the final score 31-14.
