Its Geoff Says at Bridgwater and Albion RFC
Reflecting on the game at Bridgwater and Albion RFC
Reflecting on the game the Director of Rugby at Bridgwater and Albion RFC Geoff Sluman said: “Well it was a loss again but this time for different reasons. This may sound a little wrong but we left points on the field this week, which is a big improvement from previously where to be honest we were beaten.
“It’s just a shame we didn’t convert the opportunities against Keynsham into points but we did create those opportunities which is progress.”
Playing top sides
He went on: “However things have to be put into perspective, because while five losses from the first five games is not what anyone wanted, we have played three of the top four sides in the league in our opening matches of the season.
“In addition to this our injury list has been like something we have not experienced before, but we now have players returning and we should be able to have some stability in our selection so that the team has time to gel.”
Next week at Bridgwater and Albion RFC
Geoff added: “Next week we have a home fixture against Lydney with a kick off time of 3pm. The squad will be working hard to prepare for that, so please come and support if you can.”
