Launceston 19- Bridgwater and Albion -13.

Bridgwater and Albion put in one of their best away performances of the season when they travelled to Cornwall but at the end of a game which the visitors dominated for long periods it was it was Launceston who claimed the victory.

Playing with the wind behind them Launceston took the lead from the kick off after winger Rowley scored a try that Pearce converted.

On 10 minutes Bridgwater were awarded two penalties both of which they opted to kick to the line as a result of which Will Monro danced to the line from 22 metres which Kyran Devitt converted to level the scores.

Bridgwater were reduced to 14 men when they had Jay Owens yellow carded and from the resultant penalty the home side scored a try through Weston that Pearce converted.

The visitors reduced the arrears when Devitt slotted home a penalty on 25 minutes making the score 14-10 which is how it remained until half time.

Launceston came out strongly after the re-start and on 56 minutes scored an unconverted try through Crabb.

Once again Bridgwater came back well and after 10 minutes Devitt kicked his second penalty of the game.

For the rest of the game it was Bridgwater who were very much in charge. Approaching full time they found themselves camped on the Launceston line, but despite their best efforts they were unable to score as it ended 19-13.
