***Message from Danielle Staples – Club Secretary***

Update on the Go-Fund-Me page: currently achieved £2876 which is amazing! Thank you all so much for your kind donations, it really is appreciated that we can all come together and support the club. As you are aware, we have not been open for over 3 months and we have not generated any income from our normal business activities which fund rugby for all ages and which, in turn maintains the pitches and funds other associated costs.

I would like to give a couple special mentions for some amazing donations; to the Under 15s boys team for donating £180, Matt Hastie for raising £200 and Karen Norman and the Ladies rugby team for almost £400 between them. There have also been some fantastic private donations who I will not mention but would also like to thank. Although we have received some large donations as a club we appreciate all donations no matter how big or small, it will all go towards the same cause.

I know the target is quite ambitious but I can assure you we are working away in the background trying to find grants and other sources to make up the additional funds. However any donations and support is still appreciated. If you would like to donate privately and not via the go-fund-me page please feel free to contact/ pass to one of the committee members.

We also continue to welcome any ideas for fundraising – if you have emailed these to me at secretary@barfc.co.uk I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can.
