Bridgwater & Albion RFC Second XV 47 – 14 Crewkerne
Bridgwater & Albion RFC Seconds notched up their 11th victory of the season when they convincingly beat their visitors Crewkerne 47-14 on Saturday afternoon at College Way.
This result sees the Bridgy Boys round off the first half of the season occupying second place in Tribute Somerset Counties Three. They are six points in arrears of table toppers Castle Cary and maintain their challenge for the league title.
This victory saw the home side run in seven tries of which Cam Modley scored three, Rowan Traynor scored two in addition to which there was one each from Taylor Galloway and Joe Bussell. James Collings converted six of the seven tries.
Second XV manager Brendon Goddard said: “This has been a great season so far, so Happy Christmas to everyone and lets hope we can keep it going going into 2025.”
The Second XV next match is away against Wyvern on Saturday 4th January.
