The future is bright

Our u17s played their first match of the season on Friday evening against Wells RFC Colts, and the boys did Bridgwater & Albion well with a very convincing win. Many rugby supporters from across the generations cheered the lads along, to make it an enjoyable evening of compelling rugby. Manager Chrissy Clapham, the coaches and first aid team were all very proud of the boys’ skills, discipline, and sportsmanship. Last season they did well, but on Friday the team effort and cohesion steadily built up a score line of 48-7.

Many of the u17’s matches are scheduled on a Friday evening; we hope to publicise them regularly and would welcome a good attendance of spectators to support the lads. Team Image by Brian Sweeting (Youth volunteer/Bridgwater Photographic Society).
